Things to do
WALK
5 miles. Inland farmland and quiet lanes with superb views on coastal return. The coastal section can be challenging under foot.
4 miles. A varied route covering farmland, coast path and quiet roads, with two great pubs along the way.
5.5 miles. Following a stunning stretch of the coast path via Nare Head to Carne Beach, then inland back to The Lodge.
7.8 miles. Following the coast path up to Nare Head, down to Carne Beach, and looping back via Veryan.
7.2 miles. A combination of coastal paths, farmland and quiet tracks to Portholland and back.

Beach
A wide, south-facing sweep of sand in Gerrans Bay, Pendower is a peaceful, family-friendly beach backed by low cliffs and rock pools, joining with Carne at low tide to create a vast open shoreline.
BEACH
A long, gently sloping sandy beach known for its quiet, unspoilt feel, Carne offers expansive views across the bay and plenty of space for walking, rock pooling, and relaxed seaside days.
